The Colorado Lotto is the Colorado state lottery. The first draw was held on January 28, 1989, with the initial draws being only held on Saturday. On July 7, 1990, the draws became bi-weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Players choose 6 numbers from a pool of 42 balls, and each game is $1.00. Prizes are pari-mutuel, with 50% of the ticket sales going to prizes.
On September 25, 2019 the lottery introduced The Plus for an extra dollar with additional prizes. Note: We are not storing The Plus numbers.
